Ear of Barley

Went out to photograph the sunset for a change. I don't know whether I work better with the sun rising but was extremely disappointed with my efforts. As our fellow blipper, Giacomo has been saying, the blip mojo is severely lacking at the moment.

Anyway, for once this is a straight shot. No stacking, just an ear with a dark hedge behind, allowing me to use shadow and black in Lightroom to darken the background even more.
