Concert Set Up

Concert set up week has been rather blighted by a leaking water pipe. It has closed the entire entry road to the estate for all deliveries, which has meant all the equipment, including the portable loos has had to come through the main gate together with all the normal day visitors. The leak has now been fixed, but the road itself needs repairing. We all have everything crossed that this can be done before concert day on Saturday.

Today some of my team delivered three talks to 96 thirteen year old girls on the subject of the changing roles of women in Tudor society. Gritty stuff, beautifully presented. I was proud of them.
