Beach walk

Wonderful walk on Winterton Beach. We walked for hours, searching for unusual stones, sea glass and of course photos. We stopped to look at a female Little Tern, sitting on her nest. We were lucky enough to see her through a RSPB Warden's scope. She told us that sadly 80 nests had been destroyed by foxes. Of course some nests will survive but their numbers are dwindling.

We also saw a jouvenile Crested Grebe and some Ring Plovers. Such a gorgeous beach, so much going on.

I'm tired but blessed to live so close to the sea.
