SNAPPER

While walking around my garden this morning I spotted this snapping turtle racing across the back yard towards the creek. I suspect she may have been laying eggs. We usually see baby turtles up near our house scurrying to the creek but I thought it was earlier in the spring. Anyway they move really fast and I am moving really slow so I just got this shot before it slid off the pier to the warm waters of the creek!
