Huxter Water Mills

I'm not sure this is the best picture I've taken today but it's the most interesting. There are three horizontal water mills at Huxter all fed by the same burn. They are ancient and have been painstakingly restored. They are in the far west of the Shetland mainland and overlook the island of Papa Stour. We had a great walk along the Shetland Coastal Path through beautiful wildflower meadows. My extra is the sea nearby at Melby. An altogether excellent day in different areas of the 'Wastside'.
