Flower Friday - Calendula

a la Sarah Raven seeds which l have tried growing this year.  This came out today, the first of many l hope.  I love the colouring, the buds are very dark and the undersides of the petals are veined with the dark too.. just lovely.

Tennis has been exciting today but very sad to see Federer going from Wimbledon today whilst delighted  for Murray.  Looking forward to the final on Sunday.  He annihilated Berdych in the semi.. go Murray!!
