Preparations

Our visitors who arrive today want to paddle so I prepared the kayaks.
The first adventure was a couple of days ago, pulling them from the boat house and finding one of them had a wasps nest in the cockpit.
Today I washed the boats down, inside and out, removing all the dust and dead spiders etc.  Then I replaced the elastic deck lines and old perished hatches, gathered the ancilliary equipment, and loaded them onto the car.
When they arrived the guests were too tired to paddle but everything is ready for tomorrow.
