'Dog Days' of Summer

Third day in a row of more than 35 Celsius, kitty is loving it. She moved from one spot to the next around the back courtyard, rolling on her back pleading for a belly rub (and a mouse to scurry by). I didnt do much more than her today, it was divine. Too hot to run and an at home massage booked in the afternoon, my neighbour stopped for tea and a visit in the morning. After the most amazing massage i was too melty and relaxed to do anything so lazed around the backyard with kitty and caught up on my reading, something i seem never to have enough time to do! Quiet evening at home tonight, with my sweetie rowing early tomorrow morning and my 4 hr scheduled bike ride. I should sleep well tonight!
