Winter Roses

Maisie the Labradoodle is missing Keith already. He has just phoned from Auckland airport to say he, Margaret and Emily are soon to board the plane on their way to the UK. It has been a miserable cold day with little sun. I had a photographic assignment to carry out this afternoon. On my way home I side-tracked to Pollard where I photographed the first flowering Hellebores, Winter Roses. They are a delightful shade of green.
