The Lark Ascending

I knew I shouldn't have tempted fate by hoping Summer had started.......it's been grey and overcast all day and so humid.....just horrid :-(
I felt quite creaky so I forced myself to go out for a walk........I really had no enthusiasm at all but it was nice to watch the Skylarks flying about, singing their hearts out (although what there is to sing about I'm not quite sure).........on a positive note, at least it's not raining.......yet !! :-))
