Breaching This Lagoon Can Kill Fish. It is illegal to alter this lagoon in any way. So reads the sign at the top of the bluff. We are standing above the river mouth, once again looking at the seasonal lagoon that stretches far along the main beach. It looks like city officials will breach the lagoon this week, as the backed up water is causing problems in the adjacent neighborhoods as well as at the beach. 

The fog is coming in at a fast clip on the left, low and soft and magical as it reveals and conceals bits of scenery. The sand comes and goes. We walk. We marvel.
