St John's College, Cambridge

Today I had two morning appointments at Addenbrookes hospital, one after the other.  So after we had attended my morning appointments, Mrs GOG and I went into Cambridge to have lunch at the University Centre, before visiting the ‘Lines of Thought’, exhibition at the Cambridge University Library.  On the way back into town I took this picture, of St John’s College from the river.  The exhibition, by the way, was well worth a visit, covering the history of scientific development, from ancient times, right up until pretty well the present day.  This was the first one of a series of exhibitions to be put on there over the coming months.
