Flat Iron Creek

It was fairly cold this morning.  In fact the temperature didn't rise above 1 degree C until I got to Murchison at mid-day.  So it was pretty cold outside when I stopped to take this photo in the Buller Gorge.

I expected there to be a lot more water in the creeks because they've had a lot of rain up this way.

On the north side of Murchison, as I was heading to Nelson about 3.30, there were plenty of icicles hanging off the roadside banks, but there were never places to park so they went unphotographed today.
