A railway bridge...

... with some history.

Not only was it used for my blip two days ago. this Harrogate railway bridge had a history from its very beginnings.

I've included an extra archive shot of the original bridge from 1862.The bridge was built for the line leading in to a new station, on the present site, but one of the first engines going over the bridge caused its collapse. 

More recently, the bridge was hit from below by a delivery vehicle.
