Ducks away

I only just caught this small family who had been hiding in the reeds before they scuttled off. Mum is slightly obscured and I lost them in the dense undergrowth so didn't get another opportunity to photograph them.
I spent over two hours this morning digging up some roots from some shrubs I have taken up. They have only been there for two years but they have certainly gone down deep. It remains to be seen how my back will feel tomorrow.
We had a heavy downpour this afternoon, one inch of rain I reckon in a very short period of time.
