Fresh flowers

My friend Caroline is, amongst other things, a gardener.

In her garden she grows vegetables and flowers, she keeps bees and chickens and Maurice brews beer.

Caroline picks her flowers and sets them, for sale, by the roadside. She gives the money collected to the church, to help pay for endless maintenance. St Mathias was built, originally by the Norman invaders, it still has it's late Norman font. But, the roof leaks and the stones crumble and people like Caroline try to do their bit to keep it all together, for believers and unbelievers alike, this piece of history.
