A Successful Year

I dropped in to Kinghorn Loch as I usually do on a Monday.  The Great Crested Grebes have done very well this year.  The pair near the car park have two chicks (above), a pair near the bird hide have three and another pair near the road have two.  Those last two were the first to hatch and are twice the size of the ones in my blip.

Today was a bit breezy and the water was getting a bit choppy at the end where these were hanging out waiting for dad to come home with the fish.
