Lichen

I think this apple tree must be very old judging by the abundance of lichen all over its branches and only a few very small applies to be seen. Mr T has mowed all the grass at the Farmhouse and is now totally done in, it was very long. I've dead headed the Roses, watered and fed everything in pots;  tomatoes and strawberries are coming on;  I picked a few raspberries and the gooseberries are very nearly ready to be made into a crumble or something or other.

Everything's ready for my friend's arrival any time; I'm really looking forward to seeing her;  dinner's prepped  and the weather's nice enough to enjoy a G&T, or two in the garden!
