My beloved Oslo - Scream

The scream by Edvard Munch waves on Karl Johan street, and I think it screams: OMG! More rain! What about all the tourists?! The weather is spoiling the holiday for everyone!

I was more interested on reaching the train after the it had stopped after the lightening took the electricity, than blipping today :-)

The banners of Scream is for the Jasper Johns+Edvard Munch exhibition.

Jasper Johns got interested in Munch's art at an exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art in New York in 1950, when Johns was 20, and 25 years later – from the late 1970s – references to Munch started appearing in his work, both motifs, topics and form. He was also interested in Munch's experimental approach to art. So if you are visiting Oslo (bring your umbrella) and are interested in art, you should go and see it :-)
