A new era

The last few weeks have been turbulent for the United Kingdom with many changes afoot (I voted remain, but was alas, in the minority in the UK).

One change is a new prime minister (bet he never thought it would end like this when he won the election last year), resulting in the honourable member for Maidenhead (that fabulous Thameside town that was my happy home for a number of years) getting a new job today.

As, the new Prime Minister said '...together we will build a better Britain'.

I feel that despite the challenges, we have to be positive, because I for one, want to live an optimistic life :) for however many years I have left.

Guess what? The sun shone today.
