Høiåshytta

Høiåshytta (Høiås cabin) is owned by Halden SkiKlubb, and is where weekly club training is held every thursday of the year (except in July). Originally built in 1903, it has since been extended and several other smaller huts have been built adjacent to it. The hut is at quite a high altitude (236) compared with the surrounding land so the view from the observation tower is spectacular.
The Thursday club trainings are very relaxed, simply turn up at 18:00 and do the planned training, or something else. Just make sure you're back in time to buy some delicious Norwegian waffles from the kitchen!

The extra blip is taken from the top of the observation tower looking South, the main hut is the one on the far right.
