The Cuillins from Camusteel, Applecross

Lovely day today so we drove to Applecross via Loch Carron, Loch Kishorn and over the fearsome Bealach-Na-Ba, well done to drivers Verity and Helen. Once at The picturesque coastal village of Applecross we walked to the walled gardens on the Applecross Estate and had a delicious lunch sitting out amongst beautiful flowers. After lunch we drove in search of a beach and found one at the small fishing village of Camusteel where we paddled, read our books and spotted a Whinchat.

Verity and I have just walked off tea around the coastal path, hoping to see otters and or deer, but sadly no luck this evening.
