Insect

Just as I'm no mycologist I'm no entomologist either. Not a lepidopterist but I don't think, from the way it flew away, that this is a butterfly. But I'm sure that many blippers will know instantly what this insect is.

I've a busy day with an afternoon of work in Glasgow. Getting to and from Glasgow is a challenge at the moment, never mind finding suitable clothing & demeanour. So I'm blipping early and I hope some kind person can help with the identification.

Edit: thanks to Shandonner I now know that this is a burnet moth. I should probably have known this all along but I didn't so it's good to learn something new.
