Up early and the sun was shining so the obvious thing to do was go for a walk. Instead of heading south to the lake I went north by the main road and spotted this mother and calf just over a wall. 

Two more in extras  .............. having a drink and getting a lick. 

Home for breakfast and then a morning in the garden, much of it spent cutting the beech hedge and then a climber that's easier to get at from the neighbours garden path. Followed this with a barbecue lunch then a lazy afternoon.
