The Water Lilies

The scene: a July morning at the Arboretum's lily pond. The water lilies are putting on such a wonderful display now. So hard to walk by without taking WAY too many pictures! This was one of my favorites.

The soundtrack: a tune from one of the underappreciated 80s classic albums, REO Speedwagon's 1982 Good Trouble (which I just happened to be listening to one morning this week on my drive to work). The song: Girl With a Heart of Gold.
