Heavy Lift-Off

Our last evening in the UK this time around staying at a hotel next to the runway at Heathrow.  Sad to leave K and the rest of the family in Sutton but glad to be able to see our own kids and little kids over in the US.
Still reeling at the rapidly changing political scene here as we leave it behind but also wondering how the US is doing after all the continued tensions of the last week.
This of a rather amazing sight - still after approximately 500 flights during the course of my life the genius that has put this huge A380 into the air still makes me smile and admire.  Extra of the same plane disappearing into the evening sky
