Out of theatre

What a few days we've had! Dan was sick on Monday with really bad tummy pains. I thought he had food poisoning as he'd been out for a curry the night before. The next day he was still in a lot of pain with his stomach. At bed time I told him to ring for a doctor's appointment the next day, which he did. The doctor sent him to hospital with suspected appendicitis but, after running lots of tests, the hospital were unsure. They kept him in over night and the following day decided to do an exploratory operation and remove his appendix.
It was apparently 'almost gangrenous' and on the verge of bursting, causing peritonitis. Thank God they caught it in time. He'll be in hospital for about five days recovering. Love you Dan and wishing you well for your recovery. xx
