'Red sky at morning, sailors take warning'

I took this in the early hours of this morning before heading off to bed as the grandchildren were going to be with us for the day and I reckoned it would be the only chance I'd get for a photograph. It had the added attraction of just having to hang out the bedroom window to take it.

Little did I realise that less than 24 hours later the people in Nice on Bastille Day would not have the luxury of a warning before carnage was visited upon them.
