Rose for Nice

A black Friday after the horrendous attack on people celebrating France's National Day in Nice. I feel so very sad for all the victims and their families and friends, what can we do to stop this senseless violence?

For Flower Friday our host Anni/BikerBear had set the twist of music and my initial idea had been to depict Seal's 'Kiss from a Rose' but even though I did take a couple of images for that I deemed them too frivolous for such a dark day. So it's a rose with sheet music texture of the Sancta Maria song instead.
