Birds on the back porch

Trying mightily to deal with insistent squirrels. Squirrels that insist on pilching seed from the new bird feeder. The squirrels are a pesky and determined group. The group members, to a squirrel take pleasure in defeating my efforts to drive them away.

Yesterday it was chili powder mixed in the seeds. Next week it may be pellets from a pellet gun.

Not only do the squirrels drive away the little birds, they eat until the seeds are gone...  or until I say unkind things about their parentage.
