Mum's Birthday

Lovely end to a busy week.
Mum on the left had a lovely 80th birthday today.

Auntie Gwen in the middle is the only one left from my dads siblings and she is 93. The were engrossed in looking through old photos and reminiscing as they spent many years holidaying as a family group. My cousin Gillian far left was one of mums bridesmaids some sixty years ago.

Mum's dementia seemed to take a background seat today and let her enjoy her birthday without too many worries and anxious moments clouding her day, so I am grateful for that.
