Can't Resist a Grebe

... in the early morning sunshine. It was not a good night on the boat, wind blowing the halyards, creaking fenders and David oblivious to all the noise! We then had to deliver the boat to its new owner's port 10km away. The wind was increasing by the minute. We did not put the sail up but bounced and banged between wave troughs on the engine. A memorable soaking happened, eventually followed by a very neat parking job by David only to get the centre board stuck in the sludge and weed of the mooring! The new owner must get that sorted, David had to swim under the boat to find out what was wrong, drive the boat out again. Phew, give me simple mountains any day!

Thanks for so many of you keeping up with my journal when I seem to be unable to catch up with yours, I am just a bit tired!
