Sunset on the Beach

It's been another gorgeous afternoon and evening here so after tea Rik suggested a walk down St. Ouen's. It was so still and warm down there with birds on the shoreline enjoying the pickings in the exposed rock pools. We spotted this little Egret and walked as close as we could before it was spooked and flew off. I actually saw it catch quite a large fish in a different spot but I didn't manage any decent shots.

When we came home we narrowly missed reversing over a Lesser Stag Beetle, which I've added to extras.
