First try

"Can I do some embroidery Grandma?"
So I drew a simple picture on calico and Zach started after a wee lesson in backstitch some months ago then has finished the "Bavarian Mountain Owl"(he asserts) this visit...last night in fact. This morning he decided it would look good incorporated into a cushion cover so he chose fabrics from my stash and helped me plan both back and front to make a fun addition for his bed.Not bad for a fun starter project.
