Necropolis - City of the Dead.

Undercliffe Cemetery, Bradford.
Opened in 1854, it covers 26 acres, contains 23,000 graves and holds a total of 124,000 burials.  The memorials are some of the finest examples of Victorian funerary art.
My Blip is the section known as the 'Select Flat' and my extra is the Promenade - these two locations were the most prestigious (and expensive) parts of the cemetery, and is where many of Bradford's 'great and good' are buried.
Wandering around and reading the inscriptions is a fascinating way of spending an afternoon :-)
