We hauled ourselves up to the allotment together for another shift - the effect is starting to be noticeable, although there's still an enormous amount to do.

When hunkered down at the back of the broad beans looking for any stragglers I'd missed yesterday, I suddenly noticed how many blackcurrants there were, weighing down the branches so much that they were hidden in the undergrowth. Not quite ripe, but next week.....
