Back again

After a long absence, I decided I missed the daily contact with Blip friends and have decided to resume my journal.
Today we travelled to Dorset where my brother and his wife have rented a gorgeous house in the most idyllic of settings. They suggested we join them as they found they had more bedrooms than they needed. Our luck.
There were 9 of us sitting on the terrace for dinner and, for once, the weather was perfect, Great discussions and lots of laughs made for a great evening.
I wandered along the bridle path and just spotted the common old thistle. I was surprised at how vibrant the colour is.
