Etal Village

Re-visiting some of the farms & villages I used to cycle round when I lived here as a child. I took these places for granted then but appreciate their beauty now. With a ruined castle, a manor house, a chapel, a ford across the river, a cricket pitch and Northumberland's only thatched pub, this tiny village packs a lot in! Its a charming, peaceful place, and so well looked after as part of Lord Joicey's Ford and Etal Estate. (Extra photos)
