No-Need-To-Work-Tomorrow Sunset

Shot on the dike leading to Stampersgat.

Spent the day on the genealogy project.  No gaming as that needs a break, too.

Also spent some time observing the news feed with 'all the latest' on the failed coup.  A lot of rather voluble Turks.  The Ellaphant trumpetted with her trunk for a bit but that didn't make me happy.  Sometimes you need to stand up for something even when, if truth be told, all you want is to be quiet.  The problem is that many, many people have been quiet for quite a long while.  I don't count tweeting or FB reactions although you can drum up quite a load of noise on those platforms.  I mean really speaking up and following through with some solid action.  We've let things go because we thought that would cool down everyone else.  It didn't work, did it?  Now, though, we discover that speaking up takes practice.  Such an exhausting exercise.  And what good will it do?  Right.

Posted yesterday's as well.  Oh, to be young and free of care again!
