Well the weather wasn't much to write home about but we had a nice visit from a couple of friends, also recently returned to Scotland in the last few weeks.

Generally I find televised golf as one of the most tedious sports to watch on the tele but the final round of the Open was excellent. I managed to avoid hearing the result until watching the 2 hour highlights on theBBC. This definitely improved the experience and removed all the boring bits.

Quick walk to get a blip and this is the best I could muster.
