First day of conferencing over

Critical Link 8 in underway and my eyes haven't quite been sure where to look all day with three teams of Sign Language interpreters working at various points in the day within the same sessions. Love love love it!

This was my first Critical Link, multilingual and interdisciplinary conference held over more than one day. It was great to see people from around the world bond through a common purpose-to work together-and to be part of that in a small way.


As a delegate I met many new people, both professionals and others, at University and at the reception which was held in Parliament Hall. There truly is a first for everything.

Wandered from the reception to become best buddies with an American Linguist and then gave a mini tour before coming home to start tomorrow.
