Roasted, boiled and pickled

Beetroot. After last year when I picked what I thought was radish to learn that it was beetroot and not ready **laughter** I managed to let them grow this year! First crop and I baked some, boiled some, picked some and had the leaves from them all in a salad. Delicious.

Was supposed to have hair done today but hairdresser poorly so the mop remains longer than I would like.

Looking forward to family arrive tomorrow .
