Highlander House

One of the things that I enjoy whilst wandering around Glasgow, and one of the things that makes it such an interesting city, is the way that the old and new architecture interacts. I think this is one of the more successful juxtapositions with these two buildings in Waterloo Street. I took this early on a very bright and sunny morning when the red sandstone seemed to glow. I particularly liked the way that the light, cerulean sky turned into a much deeper shade of blue in the reflection. Taken with my Panasonic DMC-TZ20 pocket camera on automatic.
