Emmet on His Couch

We bade goodby this morning to Ozzie (the dog) and the two cats, Emmet and Maggie.  Raphael had left yesterday for a conference, and Shauna was off with the kids for a swimming lesson and then day camp.  The 90 minute ride to Manhattan went smoothly.

In the afternoon I visited a superb exhibition at the Guggenheim Museum on Moholy-Nagy (1895-1946), a Hungarian modernist whose creative range might have fully rivaled Picasso's if he had lived as long. Here's a link to many of his works.  Such a pleasure to be back in that marvelous building. The extra shows a general view, with striking grey ramps--it's the first time I recall seeing the ramps other than white. DO NOT MISS the extra against the dark background (amusingly, the wall behind Emmet is the same darkish grey :)
