Blessed Beyond Measure

Celebrated thirty years of being married to this man (extra), and very grateful to say we are still best friends, fun and arguments and all - still a mystery to each other and still no-one I'd rather have a meal with...

And hugely grateful for three wonderful kids, a kind son-in-law, and the two most gorgeous grandchildren anyone could wish for. Not to mention health, and wealth, faithful friends, colleagues (who gave us flowers today), and a challenging job...

We went to the best restaurant in Mora - O Afonso - which is actually very good, and ate bacalhau (salted cod, Portugal's national dish),  roasted over coals and smothered in garlic, and then the waiters presented us with a plate, wrapped in paper - so lovely of them.

Then, on the way home, some local kids tried to explain this Pokémon craze to us - the waiter called it a sickness - all over town, kids were playing it - looks utterly Star Wars-ish...

And the heavens gave us a full moon, beside an Alentejano chimney.
