Angles

Usually I like angles and triangles in the landscape, but for some reason I find these ones a little disturbing. There is too much texture, but it’s not that. The strip of grass that comes down from left to right in the foreground is a lower part of the farm track that I have often blipped.

I made a rushed trip to Christchurch to do my shopping, leaving late and having to return early to avoid needing to drive into the low sun. To make matters worse I forgot my sunglasses. The cheap emergency ones I keep in the car hurt my eyes.

For once we had clear skies for the full moon. It was too dark for photos, but I enjoyed watching the great golden ball set this morning and rise again this evening. A rare treat indeed.
