Milleniumshain

For each child born in Rhineland-Palatinate on 1 January 2000 an apple tree was planted on the Kaisersberg in Kaiserslautern (I believe it was 97 or 98 children; forget to check on that again).

I hope the kids are all well; the appletrees are growing great!

I was moving from one shady bench to the other all afternoon - not one cloud in the sky and very warm!
