Emerald Guest

This is the first time I have ever seen one of these shimmering Green Bees. It was very busy collecting pollen from this coneflower, returning many times to probe deeply and continue collecting pollen. 

For the Record,
This day came in with warm, dry temps and gentle cooler breezes. We needed a rescue from the extreme heat and humidity of the last week. The heat returns tomorrow, but today is a gift. Raspberry is enjoying the wether as well, slumbering in comfort.
