Many of my Turkish friends have suddenly become strangely uncommunicative
(on FB) which is not surprising when you know that the Turkish Secretariat of Security has urged citizens to scan social media for anti government posts and opened phone lines for people to inform the authorities of their suspicions of pro coup supporters. (Any westerner could fall into that category I assume).
