London 2012 - Day One

After enjoying a fantastic Opening Ceremony on Friday night, I knew I had to go and sample some of that atmosphere. I didn't have a ticket for anything but knew there would be a buzz all over the city. Greenwich Park was fantastic with a big screen and deckchairs to enjoy in the well appreciated sun. Having HMS Ocean in the shadow of the newly refurbished Cutty Sark was a nice touch. This is Simonie, one of an army of volunteers who are helping to make these Games a success. Go Team GB.
